Howdy! May be real hard to find. By 88 Chevy has changed from the old style compressor to the newer rotary format. A York will not directly fit up on either bracket set. Most A/C shops used factory parts for brackets and used aftermarket compressors that were nearly identical to the OEM units, when doing a retro fit. When I added a York to my 77 350, I used the factory bracket base, which is the part that bolts right onto the exhaust manifold. I fabbed up everything else. IIRC, I used a piece of 4" x 1/4 for the base and mated that up to the York holes. Then I welded two pieces of pipe onto the bottom of that to run the pivot bolt thru. I used 3/4" angle for the belt tensioner arm. One hole in the bottom end for a water pump bolt, and the about a dozen holes in the top, filed out to make a long slider hole for adjustment. Works good, and the only problem is that if I engage the pump at over 2500 rpm, I get some belt slap/noise due to the long section of unsupported belt on one side. It's not a big problem, so I have never gone back and added an idler pulley for support. John
