i have yellow coolant in my 02. Is it supposed to be yellow or does it mean something is failing?

I have never heard of yellow coolant before.

That looks like the gold stuff for my Mercedes. Or a urine sample. Look for the Toyota red/pink, Toyota-branded Long Life Coolant if you want to pay a little more.

Ahhh yes, the 'ol white wine coolant trick. Must have gotten a great price from the vintner.

Get that flushed out with distilled and put the Toyota Long Life (Red) in there.
