Does anyone know if the Land Cruiser 100 Series IFS X-Rox Bullbar Bumper is available in the US? I searched but didn't see anything about this bumper on the forum except a couple pics.

I looked into it and could not find one. IIRC there was a guy that was bringing containers to the US from down under, he was taking orders to fill the container and then would ship to you. Still not cheap shipping but you could get the bumper.

Metal Tech makes a similar bumper for the FJ, you may want to contact them to see if they have plans for a tube bumper for the 100.

What I like about this bumper is:

-Only 86 lbs
-Accommodates large winches
-they will build it to suit up to 50mm of body lift
-modular for for shipping options

That's exactly what my Dad's been looking for!

Welcome back John!

This bumper looks like a great option for people looking it the most clearance and weight savings possible. May be a tough sell at the final price point once you import one.

Yeah. It'd be cool if a local fab shop like White-knuckle could build something similar. Maybe fill in the two triangles with a sheet of steel that would accept the stock fog lights.

Except that stock fogs suck. I like this bumper :hhmm:

It's a nice departure from all the plate bumpers out there. Seems easy enough to replicate. Probably a lot cheaper and easier to build since you don't have to cut all that plate a run all those long bead lines of weld.

I like the idea of weighing a lot less and since I just did a 2" BL, it's nice that'll work on my rig also.

My only issue is the lights. All the lights on there make it look like a just out of high school or 20 something pre-runner and somewhat diminishes the lines and the classiness of the 100.

Replicate without so many light tabs; I'm thinking two Hella fogs down low and that's it. Or maybe to driving lamps on that top hoop.

Mike with BIO could make a similar custom tube style / plated combo bumper. I came very close to having a similar bumper done and exchanged a number of photos and design ideas with Mike. At the time he had not done a tube style bumper for a 100 series. He has done some similar bumpers for 80 series LC's.

I really like the bumper pictured above and likely would have purchased one it it were available in the US when I was bumper shopping.

i think the above would be very cool with full upper tubing like a combo bar as well. Best of both worlds IMO. Sure beats my arb in approach.

I sketched this up a while back when I was in discussions with a shop in Dallas to build this for me. They decided to never return my phone calls so the idea died...

the frame rails are fairly low so that's where some rectangular tubing would serve as the base and mount the winch behind that.

I think it would look sweet san hoop up top. The hoop looks odd with the lines of the grill, IMO.

here is a very similar bumper to give you an idea of what it'd look like on a Hundy...well, Hundy Ute. i'd just have one custom made if it were me.
