I sketched this up a while back when I was in discussions with a shop in Dallas to build this for me. They decided to never return my phone calls so the idea died...

the frame rails are fairly low so that's where some rectangular tubing would serve as the base and mount the winch behind that.
For the record and unlike your idea, this rig has fully recovered from it's injuries. Nice sketch though!
