Want to buy an FJ40 Khaki soft top. Used condition/patched ok.

Thinking about two different routes.

1. If you have an old worn Khaki soft top, I would be happy to purchase it and use it as a pattern to make my own.
2. If you have a new khaki soft top, non ambulance door, that would be great too.

Not tossing that option out.

However I have read mixed reviews on the soft top options currently on the market.

Also, if I can find a nice patina soft top that needs a little work. I would prefer that look out of all the options.

And if I go about making one on my own based on a pattern, I'll end up spending 5 times the amount and need to purchase a lot more tools but it'll be mine like most of the rest of my 40 series.

I have an older Ehsan khaki canvas top. I will need to pull it down to see what shape it is in. It suffers from the rusty hardware that his tops became known for. Really nice fellow, Radiologist in Pakistan I understand. The canvas tends to not hold up well in storage.
