Yeah, you can bump start it, but right now i have my battery and everything out so I was going to try it the other way. If it won't work I will hook up the battery and see.

Update (thanks to Bomar's cheater bar) oil leaks fixed, just need to tighten the belts and put the radiator back in!
 
Wrenching....

I am thinking of tearing into my front axle this weekend. The weather is looking good.

If you are in the area come on by and grab a chair and shoot the s***.

I will have plenty of iced tea.

Dang. Would love to help, JBo, but we're out of town this weekend. I've gotten pretty good at the front axle breakdown... :yikes:

Good, My 62 will be sitting in your parents yard. I will of course be in memphis this weekend since your probably in Hot Springs.

I know its really late notice, but if you want to try to work it out, I'm heading out of town Friday evening and will be going that way if you'd like for me to meet your guy and drop off the cage for ya. Have to get it either near the base one day or see if Jordan is willing or able to bring it with him when he drops off something I'm delivering for him.
 
Where you doing this? I have all the parts to rebuild mine, but nervous about tearing into it. What day are you starting?

By the way, my rear springs are in, so it is lift time!

Thanks for the offer but the guy is heading to nashville to visit family on saturday, and then going to meet me in jackson that day. he is from chattanoga.

Well I'm going through all of those cities Friday night on my way to Atlanta so it could still be possible. Although the further the city the later it'd be so that will hinder the chances.

Not wheeling on this trip, just some Atlanta Christmas parties; one of which being my Cruiser Club though. Wheeling around new years with GA club and weekend after that with STLCA at the Cove.
 
Yeah... weather. That's it.

Also, Ima be outta town (again) this weekend, back midweek next week. If I am EVER in town when one of you breaks it all down, I really need to do the front axle job on my LX.

BTW, where did y'all decide, in yer infinite wisdom, was the cheapest place to buy the supplies to do this job? CDan, or other?
