PHH is outta the way, along with changing/flushing the coolant system and new thermostat. Last of the PM stuff (outside the front rebuid).

Nobody turning a wrench any time soon?

How was the PHH? What about your handling issue? Saw your ride this morning, lookin good.

The PHH wasn't too bad. I read up on it ad nauseum, and opted to go with the method Pin_Head has posted about (remove top bolt, cut old PHH, wiggle until you break lower mounting tab). Total time spent on the PHH was maybe an hour, which I felt was pretty good. Took waaay longer to flush/empty/flush/empty (etc) the coolant.

Handling has settled down some, which I attribute to the coil spring spacers finally seating properly. It still wants to pull left or right when you're braking unless you have the wheels straight ahead and no road irregularities. It's a bit of a pain, but the upside has been that between that and the new "lift," the wife no longer takes my LX everywhere....

This just in... antifreeze kills grass.

That is all.

Just installed the ARB today. Question: bumper comes with two wires for the turn signals, a red and a black. Looking under the front turn signals, there is a green and a white wire.

Common sense tells me that I connect to these two, and that it might not even matter which wire goes to which. But, common sense ain't so common. Anyone done this and willing to give input?:confused:

Slabsides, you got a multimeter to check voltage? If not, gimme a call and I can swing by your way to lend a hand.

I would probably take a wild guess and connect the green to the black and the white to the red, check for any fires, and go from there.

Wait, wait, lemme make some notes....

1. Wild guess
2. Fires....

Got it!

I do have an el cheapo multimeter, can try that out. If I don't get it pretty quicky I will shout at you Brian.

Okay, green was center wire, so I ran truck green to ARB black, truck white to ARB red. It works, no fire yet.

Wrenching on a buddy's 94 IFS 4x4 today trying to diagnose a fuel problem.

Finally found the problem but Im looking to you guys for help finding/getting the part since I don't think it's going to available by itself anywhere. Need the clip w/wires that plugs into the fuel pump itself. The plastic was brittle and broke apart then the metal clips inside were not only too caked up to work, but then one snapped off while attempting to clean it up.

Hoping somebody has an EFI sending unit that I can get that plug or the whole thing. Trying to finish it Sunday afternoon so any suggestions are welcome; anyone is welcome to come help too if you're bored. It'll be just off 14 in Atoka.

Did you get it done? Was outta town, got back at 10 pm Sunday so I missed this one.

Yes and no... got the wiring complete by just splicing on 2 tiny spade terminals so its running now. But then we discovered the rear u-joint on the rear d-shaft had a broken cap. The one we got from A.Z. was sized about 98% right so it fit bit was tight; and the zerk was inaccessible no matter which way it was installed. So she's runnin but not driving now. Guess we gotta take the yoke to the store to check the u-joint sizing before we leave this time.

Well Bomar, wouldn't help him cause he has to have a truck and its gotta be cheap... but I still want it bad! Too bad I got less $$ now than when you first were selling it. Plus I got my eye on a rolling chassis for my project truck (Jordan knows what I'm talkin bout).
