Would a bad right front ABS sensor cause front differential not to lock? (1 Viewer)

Just got my cruiser back from shop were they installed my 4.88's and they told me my front right ABS sensor is not working plus the ABS light is on in the dash. I drove the cruiser and locked the front and rear too make sure everything is working properly and the rear locked, but the front where the bad sensor is located didn't lock..My question is would a bad right front ABS sensor cause front differential not to lock?

Was the ABS functioning when you dropped the vehicle off? If so, it would seem that they messed something up. It's easy to forget to remove the sensors before pulling the axles......:whoops:

Cdan, everything was working perfect before I dropped it off.... What could the problem be with the front locker not activating then, all the wires leading to the electric locker engine looked plugged up?

Cdan is right, there is no connection from the ABS system to the front locker. The sensors are kinda fragile, and you have to pull them out of the knuckle before you pull the axle/birf. Very likely they didn't realize this and broke it. Tell them they owe you a new sensor and they also need to figure out why it won't lock.

Bringing cruiser in on Monday, they already told me that they are going to replace the bad ABS sensor and are going to look into the FR locking system assembly

They will be replacing the entire front ABS wiring harness and both sensors. That's the only way to get sensors.
