World travelers at me casa

Hosting this couple at my house for 4days and love their HZJ78. There stories Make me want to get on the road NOW...

I admire all these boys and girls who travell * around the globe for years.
What I don`t unterstand is, how they earn money.
The car, equipment, foot , gas and and and all this need money.
We also travelled alot around the globe, but always had to come back to the job after some weeks.

I did not ask them that but I did ask them how much it cost so far,and in the last 3 years they have spent $55000. To me that seemed like a great price considering I spent about $12000 or so for just 1month in Australia.... They were very frugal with there money....They were '" Couch Potatoes" in a lot of areas. Like me alot of people opened there homes to them,and I'm not just talking for a day.

They stopped at a friend of mine's house (guy who's on Expedition Portal) here in Idaho and had dinner with him and his wife a few months ago.
