Working '45 - sorta

For all the time it spends as a garage queen, I loaded up the 45 this weekend (with my two daughters crammed in the cab with me) and took a bunch of pine branches to the slash and mulch pile. The workers there said 'it's a shame you have to use this truck this way' - and I replied 'No, it should be used this way'. The guy who said 'nice Jeep' issued several apologies later when he realized the magnitude of his error. Always fun taking the 45 out around town.

Yup, I use mine to run brush all the time. My girls love to ride on the bench seat. At 6 and 9, they fight over who gets to sit in the middle as I usually let them shift the gears.

Any truck that can't get a scratch or two just isn't right. The truck gods would not be happy.

Besides, if you've done it once, why can't you do it again? I always say the worst that can happen is we get to do some body work and paint again.

Looks great, especially with pine in the back.
