No, i talked to wolfbox, and this is what they recommend for our 80s
I've just learnt that we're in the process of supplying adapted bases for the #1 OEM mount. (I have attached a picture of the base) If you can re-move the stock mirror and stand this base on the front windscreen, I think you will be able to use the #1 mount.
About getting the base: you just need to place an order for the #1 stand on our official website, and then note in the order that you need the base.

I didnt go that route obviously..View attachment 3886659
So am I understanding you right? I can just order mount #1, and ask for the base, and I won't have to use the delta arm?

If you order the #1 base, it comes like in my pics with what is attached to the mirror. You could use this and get the little metal tab that glues to the window like many cars, but I prefer using the delta arm so it screws in to the original 80 mount near the headliner...more secure than the glue on tabs on glass in my opinion.

That was my understanding. It sure makes a clean install, but i found there is no advantage to switch from a solid factory arm to an aftermarket arm that is glued to the windshield. Just my .02

Yeah I want to stick with a arm if possible. I emailed wolfbox as well, to verify. They requested a email back with pictures, so hopefully can get a positive response from them. I'd like to not have to by the delta arm, but I will if I have to for a clean install

Delta VS is what you need. Just did mine

Anotha one! Not a Wolfbox, but the same setup. Delta to a D tab replacement mirror cam with HAM above on a 1/4-20 RAM. The glue on D tab lasted me 6 months but eventually failed. The Delta is rock solid!

Well mark at wolfbox got back to me and let me know that there is no mounting solution for our trucks, so it looks like im going to have to get the delta arm

You won’t regret the Delta arm. It’s a nice piece.

It's almost like we all came to the same conclusion. Weird. 🤣
Yeah, Marco's post had me hoping for a cheaper solution. It doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't true, but it might not be available yet. It was worth looking into, if it was going to save me a $140ish bucks. That being said, I'm sure the delta arm will work perfect for me!

This looks like it occludes the mirror, but maybe from the drivers vantage point / height it doesn't?

At 6'3" I feel this would aggravate me.
Definitely looks cool tho.
It’s not perfect but it works. I’m not 6’3” either so my vantage point may make it less of an issue.

I got the g900 tripro with the delta arm installed this weekend. Two questions for the few with similar setups.
I got the 4runner adapter with the wolfbox, and it seems like the steel button the mount is made for, is different than what comes with the delta arm. This allows for a little movement, and a lot of vibration when driving. Did you guys have a similar issue at all?
My second problem is the amount of glare on the screen in the daylight makes it very difficult to see the video feed at all. I'm going to order the anti-glare film, but I don't have high hopes that it'll solve all the glare issues. Does anyone have any experience with using the film, and did it help?
Thanks for any input in advance. You all are the best!
