Nevermind..........I searched AFTER I posted....................

Yes, and I love mine...as you prob already read....

Just bought one a week or so ago, along with a 1/4in RAM ball (don't use this one, use this one) and a 2-inch adapter (probably will change out to a 3" so my phone is closer), along with this phone mount. This setup is the tits. It's by far the most solid phone mount solution I've used, and I've tried plenty. Pricey for just a phone mount setup, but the expandability and rigidness of the cubby insert is well worth the money.

I would also feel totally confident about adding an additional ball/adapter and run one of these once I get a tablet.

Thanks a ton for the info. I have a shopping cart put together and am looking forward to getting it all.

I think it’s just alright. :meh:
That must mean there is a sale on them coming, right? Maybe a special promotional rate????? Eh? Eh????

Thanks for weighing in, even if it is slightly biased. :)

Haha! Yeah right now I just have to work to keep them in stock :P

In all honesty I think it could be better but I’m not sure how...yet. :hmm:

I used one of these "in reverse" lets say. I screwed it into the 1/4th threaded hole so that the big rubber magnetic part faces out. Then I mount my phone with a metal plate that you get with other magnet phone mounts. Haven't done any super harsh wheeling yet but I find it very unlikely my phone will fall off. It's super stable. The magnet surface is bigger than anticipated though. It looks funny without the phone there.

I ran into a problem where the mount kept rotating annoyingly in the threads. A little thread locker fixed that.

Joey,

Spend your time thinking about something for the damn useless ashtray insert. It would be major TITS if you could come up with some magic for that useless space !!

You of course are referring to the FZJ ashtrays right? ;)

But this got me thinking for the -95 bunch. If you had two inserts that then mounted to your existing bracket, may be onto something. I don't even remember my own '94 dash layout at the moment.

Oh, but I don't have any of that wood plastic crap on mine.

Now where to mount that silly bracket in a '94.
