I start yanking out the trans and transfer case tonight. Something tell me it may not be the rear main oil seal that is leaking. I'll post pic of the tear down and rebuild as I go this week.

Has The Motor Ever
been leaking ever since :whoops: make sure you have a trans input seal and gskt, and a rear main. rtv will seal the flywheel bolts. wont wish you luck,,but how about GOD SPEED! 
out or rebuilt? i forgot to seal the flywheel bolts before i put mine back togetherTrollhole said:

Trans is out. It was like pulling one big mud ball out. I pressure washed it and degreased it but it still looks bad. Screw it who care if it looks good. The skid plate covers it up.

Wish I could come have a chat with the 2 of you. As for the throwout question I dont remember which is pretty sad since its only been like 4 or 5 months since I did it.
