Today I stripped insulation from foot wells getting ready for rust prep and when sanding to bare metal with wire disc and brushes (after I removed seats) I managed to clip the wire that goes through the hole (under driver seat) and I believe connects to exhaust (under driver's butt). What does this wire do and anything I should be aware of when repairing? Heck, maybe I don't even need it, but all that pollution stuff on the truck- I don't know. thanks, Ed

PPS Now that I am going to run without mats (no water trapping) how do I 'hide' the rear heater hoses that travers the passenger side of tunnel?
