Wire going to the Distributor Cap (1 Viewer)

I recently replaced my spark plugs, wires and distributor cap and noticed that the wire going from the ignitor to the distributor is very tight. Much more so than I would think be normal. I'm uncovering damage from an undisclosed accident (collision on drivers side) and I suspect that something may be bent far enough out of shape to cause the ignitor to be further away from the distributor than it should be. Is everyone elses tight or is ther plenty of slack?

Should not be tight; needs vibration slack.
