Yes and in most cases yes. Get a snatch block for those times you need a little more pull. I ended up getting the 12.5K and a snatch block as a personal preference since I was laying down the money and did not want to worry if I had enough. I know lots of people who run the 9500 and have no issues, but I was able to find it for just under a grand. If I hadn't been able to, I would have gone with the smaller winch.
 
It will fit. I think you will need the ARB spacer kit or fab something up yourself. I think the kit is less than $30.
 
Thick mud up to the axles or extreme rock crawling up steep river beds (like in the PAC NW) would overload the 9.5. Most guys get a 12K winch. My truck minimally loaded for camping with my family is 6000 lbs. Its a good plan to have a winch that can pull twice the weight of your truck on a single line pull.
