Slee lists four winches that fit the Blueberry bumper on their website: Warn M12000, M8000, XD9000, and 9.5XP - I'm wondering if anyone has installed something other than these with any success. I've never bought an integrated winch before, so I'm unsure if there are marked differences or if those are listed as they are what Slee sells (and can therefore easily test in house).

I've got nothing against Warn, but I'll likely not use the winch very often, so while I don't mind buying quality (prefer it, in fact), I'm not sure the durability of listed Warn winches is a necessity for me.

Any thoughts / experiences welcomed...

Nobody has tried something other than a Warn in a Blueberry?

I don't have a Blueberry, but I would bet that it will fit most winches you are looking at. Check out the dimensions on the M12000. 24.4"x 8.5". Bolt pattern is 10" by 4.5", as with most winches. You should be good to go with most ENGO, Smittybilt, etc. Just don't get some huge "Powerplant 12" and expect it to fit.

Thank you, I'll give 'em a look.

I have the M8000 with wire line. Not a Blueberry, but I've used it way more than I ever thought I would. Its a tool that once you have it uses will find you. Warn has a $150 off special going right now. Never used any of the other brands so I can't speak of them. I do know that if I had to call a tow rig to any of the locations where I used the winch the bill would have been enough to buy all my friends a new winch. Don't even remember what I paid for it 2 years ago.

Narrow your winch choices down, then confirm with Slee that they'll fit. They should definitely be able to do that for you.
When I bought my Dissent Offroad bumper, I just emailed Ben (owner), told him which winch I was looking at, and he confirmed it'd bolt right up.

Yah, looks like I can get a Smittybilt X20 Comp (synthetic 12k) for about $650 delivered, and it's slightly smaller than the M12000. Nice warranty and it seems Smittybilt is well made. I'm really liking what I'm reading about these.

Yah, I'll probably do that before I order, but Christo already told me those four (Warn) winches will fit under the light bar by removing the solenoid box, which I planned on doing anyway. The Smittybilt I'm looking at has the same mounting bolt pattern and is slightly smaller in every dimension than the M12000, but I'll probably run it past him before purchasing anyway. Still in research mode.

The Engo EPF12000S also looks like it will easily fit, Model EPF12000

Seems to be a lot of Engo fans out there.

Has anyone installed a Warn XD9i winch in the Slee Blueberry? I asked Christo, but he said he was not sure as he has never attempter it. I have also looked through all the forums and I did not see anything in relation to this winch. I know the bolt pattern will work fine, but I am a little nervous about the height of the solenoid. If anyone could shed some light on my question, I would greatly appreciate it.
