Other than ARB, what are the best quality winch bumpers and other macho accoutrements for the 100 series?

TJM, but they don't sell that in the U.S. anymore. I think the only options as far as winch bumpers are ARB and TJM

TJM and ARB are the main winchbars. otherwise its pretty much custom.

1 problem. A few years ago TJM dried up in N. America and is no longer sold here. Therefor all you will see is ARB's or a very few TJM's that are used (havent seen one yet).

Christo (sleeoffroad.com) is making a front bumper for the 100 series but is moving along slowly (understated). Nobody knows the date it will be done. Just curious, but are you looking into other bumpers, besides ARB?

I was looking for heavy duty bumpers and have done some searches but they seem to break down into three categories, Utility bumpers for trucks (f-350's etc) by companies like reading that have no style whatsoever) , Poser bumpers (Waag etc) that seem to serve no purpose other than cosmetic), and some good looking but serious bumpers from dozens of companies like Iron Bull. None other than ARB seem to make a good-looking solid bumper for a LC. I had a converted police pus bar on the front of a 78 Jeep cj5 that I could hit trees with and never see a mark, I guess I was hoping for an evolved version of that. ARB impresses me in every way except looks, I was hoping for a little more style with the same level of protection.

Slee did a project where they swapped in a solid axle in a 98 LC. The bumper was silver and I love it, anyone know if it can be bought.

His prototype is based off a similar style. It's not a production bumper but a few have copied it. I really like it as well. Contact him and see. Couldn't hurt.

The arb has great style and protection IMO

I want the slee bumper also, if it doesnt release within the next 6 months, I'm fabricating my own tube bumper

Well he sold the blue truck so there's no way you're getting that bumper. I say wait till the production one is out, actually shouldnt be much longer now.

Bumpitoffroad has a winch bumper too, I haven't seen a lot of people use it, but it looks really good, I'm leaning on that bumper right now

i like that bumper. Can he make them so lights can be installed? Similar to the ARB

I'm not sure, but it shouldn't be hard to weld on your own mounting points, that's probably what I'm gonna do

Right, those bumpers were so 6 years ago. There are far better ones on the the market now :)
