Just like the title says, wondering if my stock long jump seats from my 1970 40 will work with a stock roll bar from a 1977 40?

I found the Brackets at SOR

I have to change my question a bit as I found a tread that says you need to buy or fab these bracket to get proper clearance. Anyone use/make these brackets and have a picture of what it looks like?

Great question! I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I have a 73 with a factory roll cage yet to install...

Specter sells this one:

This seat bracket kit was specially designed to space out the rear jump seats when you install Sportbar #244-80. Provides perfect fit. Kit contains 4 brackets engineered to space your rear seats properly.

Does anyone have pictures of this installed? Im getting ready to have my factory seats reapolstered and want to make sure its going to look good installed with roll bar. Thanks

Upholstery is neither here nor there. It's a spacer kit. Seats look the same. Roll bar looks the same. Seats bump up against roll bar. Easy, japanesey.

I had the SOR kit in my '72. It is just a C shaped bracket that bolt to the side of tub where the seat currently bolt to, then you bolt the seat to the bracket. You have to drill holes on the top of the fender well for the bottom seat bolts. Worked, cheap, and easy... Don't have pictures, and don't have the '72 anymore, sorry.

As far as I remember, the bumpers no longer touch the wheel well.
