trying to figure out why it smokes so much.
it dosent burn oil, and smokes black, mainly on up hills and start up, but there is sooo much smoke it feels like the sun just whent down
theres LOTS and LOTS of smoke, but it runs fine maybe a litle underpowerd (4.88, 35").
thanks

Before you turn down your fuel, how high are the hills?

What is the standard elevation you are at and the standard elevation change going over the hills?

Are you running #2 Diesel or a Bio/Veggie Blend?

Is your air filter clean?

Is it Turboed?

I'm thinking he may live in Peru and be at 14,000ft elevation.

excellent call on the filters. If air or fuel filters are clogged, you get lots of smoke.
