15k sounds fast! Wish I had time to do that but wouldn't know how if I had the time. I will either go down to ACC or Toyota dealership on Roswell Rd.

You better not be taking it to Sandy Springs Toyota  order the parts from Beno or cdan and take it to ACC.

Nothing Failed just the normal maintenence i swear, my ahc starting to give me bad signs though

260K miles on a 2000 LX with NO parts replacement other than consumables. I think we have a new leader in the low failure high jump.

Funny you say that about Sandy Springs; I thought that before and just wanted to see what they said today about the unusual wear on the tires...those guys have no clue!! I swear I knew more than those guys after reading 2 days of comments on here.

Long story short, they had never seen it before... doing nothing for now but will definitely be going back to ACC.

217K On my 99 L/C, due for its next timing belt, other than that i've done starter, (twice- got a bad one that only lasted 2 weeks), fuel pump at 145K, and just did the alternator tonight....and what an incredible PAIN that was!....the rest has been normal wear items...brakes, idler pulley, belt, plugs at 200K O2 sensors at 210K. I must say....I've never ran a vehicle this far beyond 100K....In spite of being mad at it tonight for the rediculously difficult alternator swap, its been an awesome and reliable rig.

2001 LC, 139k miles. I purchased it at 93k miles. I just had an O2 sensor failure, so I used the excellent guide referenced on the forums here, it took less than an hour to replace both sensors. I had to replace CV boots at 135k, this was my fault for not installing the diff drop kit with the lift. I replaced the water pump at 100k as preventative maintenance, at the same time as the timing belt.

Update 9/18/14:
I'm now at 158k and no issues since my last report.

wow - 06 with only 83k that sounds like a lot of issues. can you elaborate on the ahc actuator that was replaced - are you referring to the globes/accumulators (would have been 4) or a different part?

The ride got really bouncy. I was told one of the raising/lowering pumps was out, so I had to replace that. I'm guessing it's a globe ;) Then, i had a dead battery approximately 5k ago, which was replaced, and the starter a month later. Believe me, i was pretty pissed, and wanted the AHC torn out. I read all the threads about it, but the mechanic talked me out of it. Other than that, the rig has been great, MUCH more comfortable than the 80. This is the best long distance vehicle I have been in.

99 LX470 with 125,000 (new brakes which squeal). Have not done 100k maintenance yet. That's all. Oh yeah, the cd changer quit a long time ago.

I bought this '98 "almost new" in '99 and my wife put 100 on it. Then my brother drove it for 7 or 8 years, it now has 190,000 on it and I got it back last week.

So far, brakes / exhaust , an antenna mast, and THATS IT. That is some seriously trouble free motoring.

My original window sticker says $53k, that's a lot of money in 1998 dollars.

All things considered, probly the cheapest vehicle I've owned in terms of cost per mile.

98 with 165,000. Getting ready to replace exhaust. Did the 90K timing/water pump/etc. Upgraded the rotors. Windows are getting slower. Damn wood grain hasn't looked like wood grain in years. Leather isn't what it used to be. I would call most of these things character.

But............... it purrs like a kitten.

I just purchased a 1999 LC with 185,000. I traded a 2003 Yukon with 120,000 for it after researching here on MUD. It drives better than any of the newer trucks I drove with less mileage. It has had the 90k service done twice and had great service records. I bought it without hesitation. In the time I have had it the 100 series forum has saved me a couple thousand dollars. Since my purchase I have added additional keys using the codes found here. I found a solution to fix a thud I began hear (greased the drive shaft and other points) and replaced all of my door lock actuator motors (thanks to Jon and others) that began to act up in the hot weather. Every problem i have had i was able to find a cost effective answer. Now on to the fun stuff. all stock for now, but not for long. I also have a 1999 Avalon with 170,000 and doesn't miss a beat.

98 with 273K, still my daily driver. The D light quit, as did the antenna and the CD player works 90% of the time, but everything else still works great and has just been regular maintenance. I wouldn't trade this SUV for much else.

Bought this US 1998 LC with 182K miles on it.

This thing runs like a raped ape, smooth like silk even with the bigger tires that I put on.

The trans/engine/diffs/transfer case are original as well as the alternator fuel pump.

The only things wrong are the small items like rear wiper not working, door lock motors slow to not working, alarm programing for other keys fiasco, trim items missing or broken, some dash lights bulbs burnt out, the inner cv axle boots just gave out.

The rear wiper was working when I bought it and one day it just turned on and would not shut off, all other power items work such as power seats/heated seats/mirrors warmers to the cd player work.

98 with 283K, still my daily driver. Previous owner took it to Jiffy Lube (only once according to service records), and they forgot to put oil in it at 260K. I bought it and put a Tundra motor in it and never looked back, it has been rock solid ever since. The D light quit, as did the antenna and the CD player works 90% of the time, but everything else still works great and has just been regular maintenance. I wouldn't trade this SUV for much else.

I would have never put a Tundra motor in, they are physically very different. JMO

After ~172K miles my only complaints are the starter failures (2 so far) and ignition break issue (1 so far). To date, I have been stranded two times, but the last time was my fault as I knew the starter was going.

So I am driving a 99, looking at about 104500 miles. Great Rig! I am the third owner, don't know all the problems that came up before. Do know the first owner had a couple of coil packs replaced.

I got the truck last September, it just had the 90K service done on it so that was great. Since then I have replaced the starter contacts, antenna mast, diff, trans, and transfer case fluid. Found out I need a new rack and pinion (or at least bushings?) I replaced the stereo and all components this week, what a diffrence that made. I have had a bunch of dents pulled, replaced the front grill (with one made in Taiwan that Cruiser Parts sold me as used, piece of junk, its chipping already) Shes got a new windshield now, with two chips filled already. Last but not least replaced the factory rack with the rhino load bars.

Most of this was neccesay, but some wasn't. I hope I dont have the fewest miles on my truck with the most problems. Love these things. Can't wait to get another!

Found out I need a new rack and pinion (or at least bushings?)

On a 99 you still need to pull the entire rack to replace the bushings. I believe starting in 2003 you can replace the bushings without pulling the entire rack. With the amount of miles you have, it would be best (IMHO) to go ahead and replace the entire rack with new OEM (not a reman) and poly bushings. When I order my new rack back in the Spring, it took a little over two months to get because there were non in the US. So, plan ahead...Good Luck.
