Hello all,
This is Tim from Velarde, NM. 1991 FJ80
My pops is has been using this badboy in ABQ. Water pump decided to go...Im up to my eyeballs in work and the rig is a hundred miles away.
So here is a request: Please post a person(who is interested and trusted) or a shop(trusted)in ABQ that can replace the H2O pump.

I must have been blackballed, my bad.
Not gonna happen. It's a good question. The problem is most of us won't let another mechanic anyplace near our trucks.

that is very true, about the only thing I outsource is

  • engine machine work (lack of tooling)
  • paint and body (I am getting brave hear)
  • automatic transmission (black art)

Exactly. I paid somebody else to rebuild my engine, and my transmission rebuild. But, I pulled both, and installed both when finished.
