I drive through the summit no less than 6 times a day... I live on one side and work/play on the other. People have shown me the way to get around it, but I think it's faster to haul butt through it...
i understand. i lived at the apartments there at the summit while i was renovating my house (turning and abandoned water treatment plant into a place to live) we lived through xmas traffic.... good times. all things considered it's fairly convienient to a lot of places.

Hey 'Speeder- how did your transmission issues start? Mine's started 'slipping' or missing when I'm in stop and start traffic. I'm just paranoid after you're experience....

I think mine started when I turned off traction control and limited slip and held the skinny pedal to the floor for roughly 2 minutes.
Probably 4 quarts low.

How do you like yours on the 2004? I'm eyeballin' an '04 down here.... not fond of the color. But errythang else is nice on it.
Haven't had an opportunity to use it on the 04 yet. On the Taco though it just kinda did its thing and motored up stuff. It sounds like the master cylinder is going to poo its pants when it does its thing, kinda like ABS on steroids or something. Just keep your foot in it and it works though. I assume it's the same on the LC.
Just kinda cracks me up that the guy touted that as a reason the thing could tow the shuttle on dry pavement. It's cool and all, but totally irrelevant.
It also makes it necessary to keep a careful eye on the master cyl when bleeding the brakes. If it's the same as on the taco, if you let it go below the min line while bleeding, it's a trip to the stealer to have the some valve opened via OBD to get the thing to reset or something.
