My boss called me yesterday, looks like I am being sent out of town again. Need to sell the truck before I head out of town, really wanted to sell it on MUD but if will does not go soon I will list it on Clist.
Selling my White 1997 Lexus LX450 with 222,369 miles. I bought this truck a few months ago to take my wife tent camping in but that did not go so well, she did not enjoy it as I had hoped she would. I have a company truck and a FJ60 with way too much money spent on it so the LX450 has to go. This Lexus has a OME lift on it that is a heavy front and medium rear according to the PO. It also comes with ARB winch front bumper.
The good:
Over all the truck is very clean and really does look good.
OME lift
ARB front bumper
All windows power up just fine
Tires are near new
Super smooth and no noise driving down the road
PO had rear main and valve cover seals replaced, does not leak any oil to my knowledge
PO had installed new radiator and lots of the hoses under the hood
LED lights installed in doors by PO
The bad:
Small (6") crack in windshield
Drivers seat threads have started to come loose (has seat covers)
Passenger front seat does not move forward/reverse (I have the replacement gear)
Scuff on right rear quarter/bumper - see pictures
If it sits for 2-3 days it gives just the faintest puff of smoke when you crank it and no smoke after that - valve guide seals maybe? In the 5 months I have owned it the oil level has not dropped at all.
Antenna does not go up and down
Located 30 minutes south of Atlanta it would be a perfect fly and ride - I could meet you at Hartsfield airport if you like.
I have the stock front bumper and running boards if you want them.
