I've got a whistling noise coming from my vents when running the AC. Noise gets louder as I turn the fan settings up, so I'm assuming there is either something in the squirrel cage, or something in the ducts themselves. I changed out the cabin filter to no effect. Has anyone had similar issues, and what did you do to fix it?

Drop the blower, a lot of times it's debris that got past the screen or worse case is a mice build it's nest there.

@Hodag2 I agree with the above comment, you should try dropping the blower motor. Sometimes when you pull the cabin air filter out, whatever was on top falls down into the blower motor. If that doesn't fix it, it could simply be the foam around one of the vent tubes or the blend door has deteriorated and has turned into a Reed.
