I'm considering trading up to a 2013 or 2014. Did the changes on these models include the guiding lines on the rear back up display? What about sensors to detect cars or people crossing behind you from left or right side? What about cars in blind spot on mirrors? Thanks!

Pretty sure the blind spot monitoring system came in with the 2016 model refresh. Not sure about when the rear cross traffic alert started, but I know it was standard on my 2017, so I'm guessing that came in with the 2016 model as well.

Can anyone else confirm? most important are rear crossing sensors and blind spot on side mirrors. Also, any chance the LX's in 2013/2014 would have these? Thanks.

No BSM or cross traffic alert in my '15 LC. Pretty sure they started in '16.

Don't know the answer, but you can research many of the Lexus LX570 models here.

And the same sort of thing for Toyota here.

I have a 2013. It has guiding lines on the backup display. No blind spot monitoring and no cross-traffic alert. It does have parking sensors front and rear.

I don't think the blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert came until the 2016 refresh.

I have the Bind Spot monitor on my 2016. and Cross traffic alert.
