I have the error on the dash indicating an issue with the rear parking sensors. This makes sense as I purchased the car with one of the 4 sensors missing. However here is the odd thing, I was backing up the other day and the very far right apparently still works and is accurate. This prompted me to test the other two and there was no response. So currently the order is as follows (from left to right, or I suppose left drivers side to right passenger side for NA vehicle)
1st sensor - present, plugged in, not damaged but not responsive
2nd sensor - missing (looks like it was hit as there are marking around the mounting in bumper)
3rd sensor - present, plugged in, not damaged but not responsive
4th sensor - present and working as it should.
Is there a way to tell what is wrong with sensors 1 and 3? I am already purchasing a new sensor for the 2nd position, which sometimes come in pack of 2 so I figured this is fine I will replace both. But sensor 1 is a different part number to sensors 2 and 3. I would hate it to find out that I need a new sensor 1 down the line.
Are these sensor on the same connection bank ??? are all my issues simply because of the missing sensor 2 ?
