which booster?

ok guys quick question? was looking and could not find ?which booster/master to use on my disc brake swap on my 66 fj40?i am going to use the adapter to move it forward past the frie wall rib?any one useing the adapter?which chevy booster?i thought i read somewhere it was like a 70's booster any help would be great

I did the 4 wheel disc swap a couple of months ago and the booster just went out. I went to the junk yard yesterday picked up a brake booster from a 91 4-skinner, mated to the 95 Supra master cylinder I installed last month, and this thing stops on a dime!!!

I think he's talking about using one of these to get past the strengthening rib on the older firewall. It adapts the old 3 bolt drum master location to use a GM master and gets it forward enough to clear the strengthening rib so you don't need to cut it out or do the whole firewall swap.

Won't the added length cause the master to hit the carb?
