Hello,

I want to puchase the rear locknut wrench, but when I went to NAPA, they no longer carry the part. The part no. was 6064. Is there any other place I can go to purchase? I see a FWD wrench part no. 79441. Does anyone know if this will work?

Are you looking for the rear wheel bearing lock nut wrench for a full-floater?

I think so... This is the tool used to remove the lock nut holding the hub in order to gain access to the bearings. The official Toyota SST number is 09509-25011. Basically it is a socket with three prongs.

I say let him start out with some playschool tools sourced locally at a yard sale and let him work up to something made out of metal provided he has a safety helmet to wear.

Anyone who sells "OTC" tools should be able to get it for you. The tool for the rear full floating axle locknut is part # OTC-6064.

Call me crazy, but I tried several websites that sell OTC tools, and none of them have to tool.

Hellloooooooooo,?

Sorry... to answer your question.... yes, a real one is ok

OK then...........:D

I just happen to stock them. Would you like one?

Ah yes, the price.

Well, I offer them to board members for $52.45. This is the genuine SST. I currently have one in stock and about 4 on backorder. I do not have an ETA for getting the backorder filled.

It aint cheap but it will last your lifetime and it is available.

I wouldn't mind knowing the price too. If it isn't appropriate to post it, PM me.
