Where / How To Mount I-Pad (1 Viewer)

I have a really solid mount in my LX450 thanks to the late Kevin Patterson ( Tools-R-Us) That I've used for years. Now I would like to mount the I-pad in my 78 '40. I have searched but there are few images out there. Looking for ideas or pics from folks that have been down this road. Thanks.

You're going to have to figure out where you wanted mounted. Once you do that take a hard look at the hardware offered by RAM.

Do a search on “Device Placement”. JohnnyC started the thread in 2015. I posted pics of my iPad placement on that thread. Its reply #20. It might give you some ideas.

On my '77 FJ40 I used Ram Mounts and the open FACTORY hole just to the left of the glove box Works very well and close to the cigarette lighter for power for the iPad Mini. Since my 40 is a frame off mostly stock restoration I didn't want to have any extra holes in the dash. Good luck on your project.
