This make me so ready for warmer weather!

That's for sure! Can't wait to start camping again. This thread makes me want to spend more money than I should. I want a roof rack, a roof top tent and I've been wanting a little kayak for the longest time. Lately I've been drooling over the BIC Borneo fishing kayak. Wonder if I could strap it without a roof rack???

I'm having the same problems man....I think I have a condition.

I have the kayaks, just built my off road trailer, and ordered the biggest RTT CVT makes. Super stoked for this summer.

Most here have the same problem....Just happens to be a costly one. I bet you can strap that to your roof without a rack. just use a pool noodle on the body front and rear of roof. strap through the rear window, one saftely bungee somewhere and good to go. I used to throw a big ass canoe on my old 4runner roof all the time.

That's a good idea. I've been thinking of picking up some Gamiviti gutter mounts to use with some DIY load bars for the time being until I buy a real rack. But even gutter mounts can get pricey. And at the prices people want for used Yakima/Thule gutter mounts, might as well get some brand new Gamivitis!

Took the family in the 80 on a camping trip to limekiln creek in big sur. Rained cats and dogs for the first 14 hours but had fun. 80 ran perfect and did some very light wheeling just to get her dirty.

...Still working out the cabin fever apparently. Wife and I loaded the kids, Grandpa and the dog and went south last week.

Great pictures atomicshawn

Yeah the turbo has a stout canvas inner tent with a stitched in HD ground sheet. The outer covers the frame and supplies the awning. We have had it up in some really stiff winds, just peg down the inner and make sure you peg all guy lines out too. Sand resistance excellent, the ground sheet is a rubbery plastic material. Very pleased with ours...

^^^ Cool. Thanks for the review. I'm so undecided, but I've got to figure something out. ALL the zippers are shot on the tent we're using.

IMG_00000390.webp Cub scout camping west of Bartlesville, OK. The boys had fun making spears and finding treasures in the woods.

Looking at these pictures makes me so angry that I live in South Florida. I grew up in AZ and VA. Miss the outdoors.
