I posted up yesterday about an elusive coolant leak.

Well, it's not so elusive anymore. :crybaby:

Truck started to overheat on the highway yesterday, luckily I was right around the corner from Urban LC's so i just pulled in there and parked it, to deal with today.

When I parked, the floodgates opened and the truck bled pretty badly

The PHH, which I assume had been slowly leaking and the cause of my first overheating episode, burst.

My "don't fix it unless its broke" mentality prevented me from setting aside the time to do the PHH.

Instead I got to make time. :o

Luckily the Napa around the corner had both the green silicone hose and the constant tension hoseclamps.

That little fawker is a BITCH! I though ya'll were just whining, I was wrong. I don't think pesky is a strong enough word.

SO the moral of the story is- replace that SOB sooner rather than later.

I had just bought my cruiser a month before my PHH blew. I didn't even know about this site then, let alone what the hell is a PHH. The first time I read here about PHH I knew exactly what it was. Should have found MUD sooner then I might have fixed it b4 I had to leave my cruiser in the boonies for a few hours. :frown:
