Which one of these would work without any issues, I'm planning on a 3 inch OME lift on a 1991 HDJ81

What width tire are you planning on using? The +13mm offset would be your best bet but depending on the tire you use you might need wheel spacers. Factory backspacing is 4.5". Depending on your setup will depend on if you experience rubbing on not.

I'm running a 37x12.50" tire on a 17x9 wheel with a 4" backspacing and 2" bump stop extensions. It rubs at full stuff in the rear.

:meh: Wheel sizes have been increasing and there are probably more options available in 17's now.

I was under the impression that factory offset or back spacing for the 80 series was 4" ie the mounting face is equidistant from either side of the rim. Or back space equals front space.
Those rims will fit fine but a bit of negative offset will gain clearance for wider tyres in the wheel well.

My rims are ROH2 Blak Trac's 16x8 -22 offset and worked fine with factory flares.

The factory wheels for the '91 were 4" (15x7) but later gens had 4.5" (16x8).
