I am trying to get some steelies off Ebay but I am having a hard time with the backspacing. I have looked around here and got some good info, but I am puzzled about the conversion from mm to inches. I saw that 14mm offset equaled 4.84 inch backspacing. My little calculator puts 14mm right over 1/2". I am going to be installing 255's on my truck. I am trying to find a range that I can look for. There are 4Runner wheels and FJ wheels. But the FJ are the 14mm which seems like too big a backspace.

14mm ~ 9/16"
25.4mm per inch

Yeah I know. But I saw something that said 14mm offset was equal to 4.84 inches backspace. I don't get it, but I was trying to see if I am missing something.

Offset and bs are measured differently.
Offset measured from wheel center to WMS.
BS is measured from back of rim edge to WMS.
