Buddy of mine took his wife's brand new 4runner to Rausch and stuck to greens and maybe easy blues. It was completely stock on street tires. He did fine. AOAA has MUCH tighter trails than Rausch.
Are they still togeather. Did she know he took it?

Have we seen the 2017 Tacoma with the blown transfer case back? I don't remember who that was on here.

And Chuck, didn't you blow a diff within a few days of your first trip?
I don't recall if he was ever a member. @Cass007 would have the most info about Mike?

No sir, it was a few days after my 2nd trip.

I'm still out for maybe 1 more month. Still need to get the bumper and winch mounted and fix the valve cover oil cascade.

Just checked in with Mike ('17 Taco) and he will make it out. He said he just joined the TLCA and Keystone Cruisers today. He's got a new transfer case and now has a lift and 35" tires I think, so he should be a little more equipped this go round. Someone please keep him from rolling it.

I’m in. HDJ81 no armor so pllllllleaaaase no body damage.

Rausch at 8am?

Argh! Forgot to set my alarm!

It was an awesome day!

It was a great day as always. Good to see the regular faces and finally meet some new ones. After lunch a few of us broke off from the group to try some other trails. I think we should of stayed with the group. First we went to Cemetery which was covered in snow and some ice which made it nearly impossible for our three Tacomas. I had to winch up the whole last hill. Some where during the pull I snagged I valve and by the top she was flat

After we learned our lesson that blacks maybe a little difficult in ice we decided to run some of the blues on the west side. Those were just super muddy but easily doable.

It was great to meet the group this past weekend and being a passenger with Aaron taught me a lot.
Hopefully I am able to get my 3rd Gen 4Runner ready for the next trip.

Thanks, Rich Bayna

Great wheeling with you Rich, was a good all round day, we covered a lot for a first timer!
Little winching, little out of our depth here and there and saw a fair bit of what Rausch has to offer.
Start a thread for your 4runner (if thats the one you build) to keep all your questions and progress in one place.

Only pic of the group I got.

This rock (Avi's rock) gave me a partiularly difficult time during a side trail off of Tatas, ended up having to pull cable to get free from it with out tairing things up too much.
