Hey folks,
I've been searching the threads for weeks, and I haven't found anything specifically re: this combo.
Is this an option?
Does anybody have any pics?
Do you think it would look retarded?

These are the two options I'm curious about.

And if they are an option, does anybody know where I can find a set other than from the dealer? (I realize this portion should go in a different section, so forgive me)

Thanks everyone, you've been a tremendous resource.

Junkyards...

I think the backspacing is a little more in the runner. But the 6 bolt pattern is the same from what I have heard.

Best bet, drive to a import wreaking yard, bring your axle stands and jack. Lift the front end and try fitting on some rims. Also bring a tape measure.

The later runners had 16 inch rims.

I'm not sure if backspacing is an issue, but will they even fit over the hub. I'm fairly sure you can't get em on there.

runner rims will fit a fj62 but iom not shore if stock ones have the proper backspaceing . otherwise they should bolt right on . And technicaly any 6 lug rim off a 4x4 except a chevy will bolt on. its the back spaceing that matters once u bolt on a set. the rim and tire in the pic. Were purchased off a ifs 4runner.

but spacers might work.

The bolt pattern will be fine. They will fit over the hubs fine.
I had a set on a fj40 for a while but you have to use wheel spacers to clear the front steering arms.
I don't know if they would work with the back spacing with out using wheel spacers.
I used 1-1/2 inch spacers.
For the cost of spacers you might be better of with different wheels.
I good place to pick up cheap wheels is garage sales or craigslist.
I bought a compleat set of 4runner wheels with caps, tires and lugs at a garage sale for $60.00

Thanks folks, maybe 80 series are a better option.
I've been searching the threads about those too.

Still gotta use spacers though, I think.
