So, I’ve replaced wheel cylinders in the past and never thought about them being handed or side specific.
These days I always consult my FSM and it looks like maybe there is a spring in one side and not the other? Does that sound correct? Are my eyes deceiving me?
If not, does that mean that officially per the FSM that we should install wheel cylinders with the spring side pointed in a certain direction?
I didn’t even question orientation until I had already installed them this afternoon.
I don’t really wanna take them back outta there and flip them around if I don’t gotta.
What do ya’ll think?

Upon looking at the FSM more closely, it appears that the spring is actually in the middle, but that the exploded drawing just kicks it out to one side.
I think the wheel cylinders are exactly the same side to side.
This post should be deleted. LOL

It looks like the RH and LH are the same. The parts drawing has different locator numbers for RH and LF but both numbers refer to the same part number. In the exploded view there are two of every part except for the spring, which is in the middle. They show it on the left side but it will settle in the middle. What is important is that the bleed valve be on the top side when installed.

Both cylinders have the same part number as 2mbb said. Replacements are identical

The same.

ADVICS WCT-011 is the OEM
