Would you buy Toyota or premium NAPA or Car Quest type bearings?

Toyota does not make wheel bearings so I assume a premium bearing would be fine?

I understand will need the following to replace my front wheel bearings:

2 front inner bearings
2 front outer bearings
2 inner races
2 outer races
2 bearing seals

Have you already found the part numbers for the OEM ones? (I'm lazy and thinking of replacing mine also).

Have you checked with Kurt at cruiser outfitters? I purchased bearings from him for my earlier models and he is great help!

Confirm the inner seal p/n...just got 2 of these from AutoZone today to repack the front bearings and lube the inner bushing.

I would make sure they were Koyo or Timken (OEM) and only buy those, not some aftermarket replacement.

Thanks guys... Koyo and Timken seem to be the norm for all the Toyotas I've owned I guess... I just checked the Car Quest part numbers for "premium" bearing components and they are Timken part #'s.

Don't forget to get new lock washers and possibly c-clips. A brass hammer makes removing the cone washers a breeze. Also a brass drift or a length of brass bar stock to pound out the old races. A search here will give you a lot of info. Too much, probably!
