Whats your Hundy getting for Christmas?

Hopefully a bike rack, and a roof rack so my interior isn't cluttered up during the ATV/camping trips.

My hundy is getting some new armor, via the BIOR rear bumper and skids GBs and some new reverse light bulbs from pfran's. It's a very 'mud Christmas!

She got a thanksgiving gift too of a new power inverter and in-cab aux fuse block...just installed last week.

Sent from my Thunderbonner using IH8MUD

ToyOutfitters rear lower links, dented one at wheeltoberfest, along with my gas tank :(

And a I.O.U for 4.88s and ARBs. ;)

Installing the UCA's I got from Skidoo a few years ago(OEM) and some sway bar bushings.

A new garage to sleep in at night.

The BIOR rear bumper and skidplates won't arrive before Christmas, but I ordered them before Thanksgiving...does that count? :-)

My brother and I will be installing the DT headers during the long weekend for either Christmas or New Year's.

Otherwise, all the 100 is getting is no-loss caps and Staun tyre deflators.

New starter contacts......yeah:o

Not joking.... she is going to find a new home. Just don’t have time to give her the attention she needs.

Better Answer:
- Valet inside and out
- Tidy up of last bits of wiring
- Painting inside wheel arches
- Removal of all add-ons
- Runningboards & Hubcaps

THEN a for sale sign :D

Dude...seriously? After all the time and effort cleaning it up and getting parts? That's too bad. Gonna look for another hundy or something else?

Just too much left to do to be honest. I had a full 360 done on it by Toyota and there is so much, ac compressor is leaking gas, power steering pump is on its last legs, just about every mounting is shot (gearbox, engine, body) and much more. Cars age quickly here with the abuse, desert heat, and lack of proper maintenance. I have everything working right now but the amount of time and money required in the next 2 years just doesn’t make it worth it.

The plan was to get another one but with a FJ in the family and not being able to find an expatriate owned newer cruiser (the locals trash them) You guys will delete my membership if you knew at the two things I’m looking at getting ;)

Sucks to hear, but I totally understand. My other two vehicles are a Ford and a Chevy, so no brand myopia is happening on my end ;). Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and thanks for all of your hard work detailing your modifications and doing those excellent write-ups!
