HJ60 Wont start with hood open, but will start with hood closed. (1 Viewer)

1986 HJ-60. Quite stock. A few electrical additions (winch, inverter, lights). This behavior just started. Probably some kind of ground issue, but just wanted to check in knowledgebase in case anyone else has experienced this seemingly bizarre, but very manageable issue. By wont start, I mean no electrical response from turning the key to ACC or Glow.

Check your fuseable link. Sounds like the hood contacts it when closed and allows it to work.
