My old BMW 1150 Adventure, from what I hear I'm the only person to have consistent problems with one of those bikes. The latest toy/yard tool Suzuki King Quad 750
I had constant problems with my K100RT. I ride Hondas now. I don't like walking.

After my experience with the 1150 GS, I would have been better off walking instead of trying to ride that thing, I might have actually made it to my destination. It seems it's hard to go wrong with some of the Japanese machines.

is that a XR600S or a converted XR400?
It's an XR400R with a Wiseco piston and a Mikuni pumper carb. The prior owner put an enduro kit on it and titled it and then licensed it for the street. I went a step further by trashing the enduro kit and adding a Baja Designs dual sport kit. Installed a Ricky Stator dual 75watt output stator that has one output staying AC and powering the headlight, while the other output is DC, hooked to a battery pack, voltage regulator and runs the turn signals, brake/tail lights, horn, etc. Everything on the bike is LED except the headlight. Here's a couple more shots:

That's the Alaska pipeline. The towers are cooling fins to keep the permafrost from melting where the pipeline goes underground.
