Yes, the TLR has awesome torque and sound! Of all the bikes I've owned I think that's my favorite, just because of the engine. I just sold it a few weeks ago and I'm wishing I hadn't.It was a little too heavy and handling was a little weird, but the engine quickly makes you forget those things.
Yup. I would like to find a nice non "S" SV1000. I know the motor is somewhat tamer than the TL, but I am addicted to that grunty torque. There are lots of SV1000s and some SV650 standards, but the SV1000 standards seem hard to come by. I know they weren't that popular, but they are just what I am looking for. Affordable too.

should've been wearing a helmet, and will in the future. She was just checking out how slow and easy it really was with the throttle stop turned in to what I deemed appropriate... when it started going she looked surprised and took it for a loop around the parking lot at the track... came back with a big grin. (AFAIK this was the first time that she'd ever ridden a motorcycle)
