Pics please.

Here you go. I still need to do a little house keeping with terminal caps and wire management around the solenoid. But it works!!

The back story is:

After a lot of research, and consulting diagrams from Road Armor. I calculated that the Superwinch Talon 12.5 would fit inside my bumper. Because of the lack of space under my hood, I purchased the integrated model. It did not fit. The solenoid housing was too steep to fit under and bottom mount in the brackets on the bumper. Also, the solenoid housing would not fit with the grill in this configuration. So I freaked. I did not want to pay for shipping of a 100 lb winch (winch and wire rope) back to the Internet purveyor from which I purchased. The shipping charges would be astronomical and I had already disposed of the packaging. So I called lled Superwinch. They were awesome. They figured out which parts I needed to reconfigure to the non integrated model ( about 20.00 bucks worth of parts) and shipped them to me. I was saved. I was able to install the winch "feet first" and it was good to go.

I don't have much room under my hood. The washer bottle, dual battery, relay bank, extra fuse block and all the wiring has taken up all of the real estate, which is already at a premium in the 2010+ FJ Cruiser. So, I made a bracket from the winch box and attached the solenoid to the battery tray of my dual battery above the dual battery solenoid.

So, Kevin, when you decide you have to have THIS for your winch, make me a KILLER deal on the viking line you just installed. ;) I am looking to make the switch to synthetic on my winch.

Looks good by the way.

I went with the orang for safety and visibility reaons. Plus, Ryna(Hornsfan) has given it the Mechabevo Seal of Approval (because its Orange) So I acn't get rid of it any time soon.

I saw that over in the blu room but the way I figure is at some point you are REALLY going to wan that winch line to match the rig (like most of your goodies) and you WILL succumb to temptation. You can always get an orange abrasion cover for it for visibility and Mechabevo approval. ;)

VADER rolls on his own power:)

first time since before 2011 SCC :D

cleaned up my vision X tantrum rock light wiring. put the control box and excess wiring in an electrical box. looks a lot better.
