I was looking more for a "Just do it!!! don't be a P....!!!, but I think thats what you meant so I just order my bumper all thanks to you.

If it helps ease the pain and guilt, then OK....that's what I meant. :D

But when your wife asks, I don't know nothin'!!

I tend to agree. i am not a huge fan of the bushwackers on the FJ. They look very foreign compared to the rest of the vehicle, IMO.

I'd much prefer running no fenders at all. I would use some kind of material (bedliner or plasti-dip) to protect the part of the paint that the OEM fender covered to prevent rock chips though.

Kevin, do you have to cut the bushwackers to get them to fit with the EXP1 rear? That bumper is very nice!

It's all the debris being tossed onto the windshield that prompted mine. After a brief foray down a muddy service road during a failed trip to a local park, the entire Gobi had an 1" of solid mud caked to it. Wipers can't keep up.

My "adaptation" to the Expo.

Again, I'm not "happy" about, but not willing to cut the Expo.

As we speak (well, I'm speaking because I talk to myself while I type these things), I'm having my new MT/Rs (285/70/17) installed on the Dick Cepek 2 rims I bought from Army_Cruiser on the Blue Room. I'll be rolling them over to Brian's tonight.

if anyone wants to buy me a bumper or tires ill love you long time!

You can't threaten me!

Tires are ON!. And they rub when I turn sharply. Um, Bart, about that BMC ....

I think the way Bart did his was to take out a sliver, and then hammer the front back, and then weld it up. I like this idea better after something someone brought to my attention on FJCF.

One of the big reasons that body mount sticks out like it does is to prevent the front wheel from pushing back into the passenger compartment in a collision and destroying your legs. So keeping it sticking out far is a good idea. But trimming the front of it doesn't reduce its strength very much.

What tires did you get will, the MTRs? And where are the pictures!!!!

That thing looks sweet now with those wheels. I told Will tonight that I was not a fan of those wheels as you see tons of jeeps with them and they look too deep or just plain funny on some of them. His FJC looks great in combo with the MTR's he got.
