the scuba mod consists of re-locating the rear differential breather, E-Locker breather, Transsmission & Transfer Case Breathers.

It's probably a pain in the a$$ but it's worth a shot before I drop another $200 on springs.
We might be able to work out a better deal...
;)

Shocks and Castor correction

Finally installed OMEmu shocks and castor correction bushings for 2.5 inch lift. Why didn't I do this 2 years ago when I installed my springs?? Truck drives like a dream.

I would just go ahead and buy some new springs to put on the rear but I don't want to put anything else on my credit card until Lance approves me for a home loan.:D

Well, borrow the ones Brian is selling or we can just swap the springs side to side and see if that helps.

The springs Brian wants to sell are still on his truck. If you think we will have the time and manpower to swap my springs on meeting day I am all for it but I know everyone has a list of things they want to knock out, me included. If we can get Kevin's bumper on tomorrow night and I can knock out my lower links that will just leave me with a snorkel, scuba mod, and light wiring. I'm in if y'all are!

But aren't the fronts up in the engine bay?

You have 5 things that have breathers on them.
Rear axle, rear locker, transfer case, transmission and front diff.
You just took care of the rear locker and rear diff. The front diff is up in the engine bay on the DS.
The TC and transmission sit on top of the transmission. Easiest way to get to them is to remove the PS front wheel, drop the rubber cover thing between the body and frame, and then reach in there. I would just route those up into the engine bay and attach to the firewall, that is what i did. These are a LOT harder to reach than the rear ones are.

Jonas, I have no idea what it takes to swap the springs but I won't have anything to work on believe it or not so I'm in for whatever needs to be done. :D

Swapping rear springs is pretty easy. Un bolt sway bar on each side, unbolt bottom shock mount and slide shock off. Then just use a jack to lift one side of the axle and the other side spring basically falls out.

Well Mike, since I no longer have a rear sway bar it sounds like half of the work is already done! I have been rethinking that whole swaybar thing after a conversation with Jacque. Something about FJC's sh!tting springs out from underneath them on the trail while flexing. Very colorful explanation for what has happened to guys running without swaybars and no limiting straps. If you want the job it's all yours. I will need Jason and Layton's guidance with my snorkel and scuba mod and I think I can handle the links and wiring on a local NOLA drink and mod night. It will all get done sooner or later.

I'll be home by 6. Sue is in AZ so there is nobody to bring out fresh salsa and chips. In true Brian fashion, I propose ordering Domino's. Something tells me it'll take a couple hours and I'm sure I'll be hungry!

I'd be happy to pick up some food if you don't want Domino's. Either way let me know.
