Lookin good.. I have resi envy.

We got Jonas'. Rockteck bumper on but he was called home by Mrs. Grouper before he could finish trimming his bushwhackers. I finally got both of my toy outfitter upper links properly installed at the same time today. i also was able to do a better repair to my tailpipe.

Thanks a lot for everything Kevin. I have no idea how we would have gotten that thing on without you. Mrs. Grouper was not happy about being kept waiting and had a list of chores for me to hammer out as soon as I walked through the door. I feel like s*** but I hope to find an hour or two to finish up tomorrow if I can get out of bed. I posted some pics on the bumper thread.

Kevin working hard.

I would move that gas can to the other side

concur park on level surface take measurements wheel well to ground axle to ground upper spring mount to ground also each spring

bet left springs more compressed.

not sure what your future plans on adding to bumper looks like ya gona need a bit more load cap rear springs:)

Level ground in NOLA is a relative term but the measurements are 40" on the driver side and 41" on the passenger. The RC springs are rated as 16% stiffer than stock enabling them to hold an additional 220lbs. The bumper weighs about 115lbs and I think my spare is pretty heavy but other than that I don't have a ton of gear in the back of my rig. Those gas cans are empty until neaded for a specific run and they are Rotopax plastic cans weighing 6lbs ea. So we are only talking about 12lbs in gas cans and another 20 for the rotopax storage box and mount. I am definitely considering a different setup for the rear but on paper the one I have should be fine. Reality is a all together different thing.

Edit: I didn't understand your measurement request on first read. I will try to get out and measure what you asked for and post it up later on. I have no doubt that the driver side spring is more compressed than the passenger I just think it sucks that it went from a 1/4" difference to a full inch in the matter of 3 weeks. I really had no idea that removing the sway bar would make that kind of difference.

removing the sway bar should make no diff on relative level ground it tells me ya have a weak spring.

not that familiar with the FJ rear susp:meh: if not 2 bigs PIA swap em

Well, not sure what's going on with the radiator but I tightened the hose and it still leaked when the engine gets up to temp for the thermo to open up. Drained it, tried to find a new hose but some of these auto parts stores are ABSOLUTELY no help!! Got the wrong :censor: hose. So, I put the old one back on but made it bend in the opposite direction. Now it doesn't leak when back up to temp. :hhmm: I am going to let it cool and flush it since I was planning to replace the fluid (when I put the old hose back on, I refilled it with what came out so I didn't end up wasting more antifreeze) and then we will see what happens, but it looks like Hachi is on the mend.

Not that I can tell. This all happened since I removed my sway bar.

I have OME heavies in the rear that i'd sell ya. Since I don't have the rear bumper yet, I don't have that added weight to make these springs affective.

i was curious so i went and measured my drivers side lean. my drivers side is only about 1/4 of an inch lower. i think if i swap my high-lift to the other side it should compensate enough not be noticeable anymore.

The last time I measured about 6 months ago I was only off a 1/4". Not anymore!
