What this knob is for ?

Hi guys !
Still fiddling with my truck and I found out near the steering wheel, in the centre of the pic there is a weird knob. I didn't push it because I know my rig has some issues going on and I didn't want to push a random event on the top of it. I read the owner's manuals I could find, but they didn't show/mention it.
It's a 91 Petrol with 3F-E and automatic gearbox.
Would you know what this thing could be please ?

I don't know, I just found out about the throttle lock, if I had used it randomly I would have freaked out and still won't have understood what's for. Perhaps this knob will open a oil thingy I have no clue about, lock the steering wheel or disable an other thing. Maybe I won't see anything happen while a switch would have been turned on or off in the whole machinery underneath.
So I prefer to wait for someone who owns the same truck and can tell me what's for.

So yeah, that thing isn't the hand throttle, I have it too, on the other side of the steering wheel.

It's not standard. We can guess at what it's for.

The only way you'll know is to trace where it goes.
Is it a switch, or a cable? Follow the wires

Whatever it is, it's not factory.

It has a flat washer as a backing support and the end of it gives us no clue what it is.

You'll need to stand on your head or remove the lower valance to determine its purpose.

Then let us know so we can see who was the closest guess.
