Searched a bit on this topic but most of the results are quite a few years old and I am sure advancements have been made.
I am trying to keep on top of real sliding window seals and the sunroof seals. What is the best conditioner to use?

I have used the Gummi Phlege on my truck. It didnt restore faded stuff really. I put it on my door seals, hard to tell if it works. BMW forums have a lot of fans of the stuff.

I like VRP from The Chemical Guys.

I've been wondering about The Chemical Guys' products. At first I thought gimmick, but they keep popping up in head to head stuff with big hitters like 3m

Not the same product, but I started using The Chemical Guys heavy metal polish after seeing some YouTube videos on polishing aluminum diamond plate. Made a 10 year old weathered aluminum tool box look like new. I wouldn't hesitate to use any of their products.

I did initially use Gummi Phlege on the rubber in the truck. I think it helped a little but eventually I broke down and replaced all the rubber with new. While not cheap, I figure it is a one time cost. Even if you restore the existing seals a bit, they still are 20 yr old rubber. With new, I figure they will last the life of the truck.

Or at least yours...

I have replaced every piece of exterior rubber/ seal on my 80 in the last year except the rear hatch weather strip and the sunroof seal/trim. There was no evidence that anyone had ever used Gummi anything on my 80 and the old pieces were in what I consider to be very good condition for 24 years old.

I agree with @mingles last sentence; replace and run carefree unless you actually believe that you will own your 80 for 25 plus years and leave it out in the elements the whole time.
