I'm lifting the 80 in the next 2 weeks. I got a good deal on some mildly used OME850 OME Heavy front coil springs and some N73 OME shocks & bushings. Plus I'm buying a new-in-the-box caster correction kit.
I need to buy rear springs and shocks. My back end will be heavier than stock: my new back bumper is being custom made at Wadsworth Offroad right now. (The best way to describe it is that it will be a cross between the Slee bumper and the 4x4 Labs bumper, but different.)
Question: what do you think I should get for the springs on the back? I see three choices:
OME860: 0-200 lbs over stock
OME863: 200-440 lbs over stock
OME864: 300-600 lbs over stock
I was thinking I should get the 863s. What do you think? Also, which shock should I use: the N74E or the longer N74L?
N74E: Open: 24.4" Closed: 14.6"
N74L: Open: 26.4" Closed: 15.6"
Also, do you think I need spacers in the front to make it sit level? I have an ARB winch front bumper, but no winch (yet).
I was also planning on buying the OME-SD24 steering stabilizer. Any other parts that I should get? I'd like to have everything I need, so I can get this done over a weekend.
TIA!
