I still don't understand how they "guide" the window in. Baffling.

I tested it this morning. I can't repeat it reliably and maybe it has to do with other windows being open or closed but I wasn't paying attention. But there was one instance where sure enough the window did get sucked out a bit and *appear* to make contact with it.

In theory...not in actuality. Actually, I drove it last weekend and had never really paid attention before. I hit 78 mph and even passed a few cars. She was rolling along around 2200-2400 rpm. She liked it and felt comfortable at that speed.Actually wait, your truck can gain speed going downhill, you could...with a tailwind...hit the velocity needed to utilize this component.

I'm guessing if the window blew out it would cause the airbags to go off...

Ironically, I have driven my 80 across the continental divide. But I was driving along the corn fields of Iowa. No hills. At. All. Dead. Flat. And I wasn't worried at all about the head gasket blowing.
